He Lights The Way

 

  While waiting for my turn for confession, I sat in a pew reflecting and talking with Jesus. It was my turn next, and as I looked down the aisle toward the confession room, I saw rays of light streaming through the stained-glass windows. I smiled as I noticed the beautiful colors of light that formed a pattern all the way to the confessional door. As I sat there, I couldn’t help but think how fitting it was. Of course, the path to reconciliation could be filled with light.  Of course, it would be beautiful.  

  There is nothing more beautiful than a sinner being reconciled with God.  All of heaven rejoices!  God’s light not only leads us to Reconciliation, but also fills us with His light.  We do not have to walk in darkness. Jesus said, “Walk while you have the light so that the darkness does not overcome you.”  

  Jesus is the Light of the world, and He is waiting for you.  If you are looking for a sign, just look up. He is giving you the green light to come in, talk, and be forgiven. It's your turn.
