We all know the feeling, the feeling that we are alone. Or the feeling that nobody cares. When faced with these feelings, we are in a very dark and scary place in our minds. We don't have to feel that way though.
In Sunday school, the teachers tried to get at least one small message through all of our tiny heads - God loves each and everyone of us very much. As we grew older and our Sunday school days seem like a lifetime ago, it began to be harder to recognize that still God loves us no matter what. We grew up and saw how cruel the world could be. We saw the hate and the violence, and began to forget God's love for us. Forgetting God's love is the biggest mistake we can make. In this scary ever changing world, there is one thing that will never change, no matter how much darkness we live in. That is God's love for us. God wouldn't care if you were the most hated person in the world, he would still love you unconditionally. That is why it is important that we shouldn't be seeking approval and acceptance from our peers, because the only person you need to love you is God. Spend a moment in prayer today thinking about God's love for you.
God Bless,
Theresa
